Speaker: Diana Cruz, MS, OT, CSRS

Is navigating your child's emotional ups and downs challenging? Have they been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, or general developmental delay? They may benefit from a sensory diet. Despite the name, a sensory diet has nothing to do with eating, but instead is a personalized plan that addresses each child's sensory needs in order to balance the body and promote self-regulation.
Parents are invited to this free educational session to learn more about sensory diets and how they can help children with sensory issues thrive.
Learn More About:
- Sensory diets and their role in using sensory input to guide adaptive responses and target sensory needs.
- How to manage dysregulation at home and within the community.
- Customizing routines to duel the central nervous system and optimize performance with daily tasks.
