Skin Cancer Screening
A physician will do a visual non-invasive exam of suspicious lesions or moles that are a concern to the participant.
The provider will make reccomendations based on the individual's history. This screening should not replace an annual full body exam.

Yet, it remains a leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. Forty percent of those who should get screened don’t—often because of fear or embarrassment. If you’re 45 or older or have a family history of colorectal cancer, sign up for a screening today. Screenings are limited to one screening per year.
You will be given a collection kit to take home as a part of the colorectal screening. Instructions will be provided at the screening. It will be your responsibility to return the kit to CentraState Out-Patient Lab within 1 week after the screening.

Prostate cancer can occur in older males and can often be slow growing. An individualized screening plan with your doctor is recommended; join us for a conversation about prostate cancer and whether a prostate cancer screening would be appropriate for you.
Head, Neck, and Thyroid Screening
If you smoke or use tobacco products, drink alcohol or spend a lot of time in the sun then you are at risk for head and neck cancers. Other warning signs include but are not limited to:
- Persistent sore throat
- Growth in throat or mouth
- Change in voice
- Lump in the neck
- Change in skin/mole
- Difficulty swallowing
This screening will include a facial skin, oral and thyroid exam and a TSH blood level draw.
