Designed to meet OSHA regulations, this course covers first aid basics, consisting of the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. This is a great class for anyone, especially those who have a duty to act because of job responsibility. Wear comfortable clothing.

Cost includes Student Manual and two-year AHA certification card.

Student Manual will be distributed in class or is available for pick up ahead of time. You can contact the Health Awareness Center at 732-308-0570, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am- 4:00 pm, for pick up.

The American Heart Association (AHA) strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional material for this purpose. Heartsaver CPR with AED and First Aid Combination

Designed to meet OSHA regulations, this course covers first aid basics, consisting of the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, call for help, and perform lifesaving skills. Learn CPR for adults, children and infants, how to help a choking victim, and how to use an AED. A great certification class for personal trainers, teachers, coaches, parents, babysitters, and anyone required to respond to emergencies and have a duty to act because of job responsibility. Students receive a 2-year certification card.

Cost includes Student Manual and a two-year AHA certification card.

PALS Full/Initial Course

The PALS Provider course is designed for pediatricians, emergency physicians, family physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies.

A copy of your current AHA BLS is required.

All participants must bring a current AHA 2020 Student Manual to class, and prerequisites must be completed prior to class. A copy of your passing results (70% or higher) must be submitted to the instructor at the beginning of class, or you will be rescheduled.

Cost includes the student manual. The manual can be picked up at the Health Awareness Center between 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, or call for mailing arrangements. The training center highly suggests that the manual be picked up two weeks prior to class in order to complete the required pre-requisites. Please be advised that you are expected to know your rhythms and pharmacology.

Due to course content class will start promptly at 9:00 am. Please be on time, or you will be rescheduled for another date.
